O Tri\u00e2ngulo, local retratado nesta obra, \u00e9 um dos primeiros bairros da cidade e est\u00e1 localizado na beira do rio Madeira, em Porto Velho-ROND\u00d4NIA. Com a constru\u00e7\u00e3o da Estrada de Ferro Madeira Mamor\u00e9, o trem entrava em um tri\u00e2ngulo para virar a locomotiva e conseguir retornar o trajeto, a a\u00e7\u00e3o deu origem ao nome do bairro que \u00e9 considerada pela popula\u00e7\u00e3o da cidade como uma periferia apesar de estar num local que pela natureza, deveria ser um bairro de classe A. Aqui no Brasil a periferia \u00e9 um bairro pobre, as casas s\u00e3o de t\u00e1buas de madeira, com telhas de brasilit, sem saneamento b\u00e1sico e sem nenhuma beleza urbana, para promover o bem-estar mental e emocional dos cidad\u00e3os. Felizmente eles possuem o rio ao seu lado, que silencioso e acolhedor os abra\u00e7a, dispondo o alimento, a \u00e1gua, os meios de locomo\u00e7\u00e3o e a natureza generosa. Poucos tem no\u00e7\u00e3o de quanta riqueza estamos pisando.<\/p>\n
Esta \u00e9 uma das primeiras telas pintadas aqui em Porto Velho, a produzi quando quando cheguei de Boa Vista-RR, em fevereiro de 2007. Vim de barco, nessa bel\u00edssima viagem partindo de Manaus-AM…<\/p>\n
Nesse per\u00edodo a locomotiva estava dando as suas \u00faltimas voltas at\u00e9 a igrejinha de Santo Ant\u00f4nio, comunidade pr\u00f3xima. Eu presenciei a cena enquanto pintava no local, o t\u00edtulo da tela \u00e9 refer\u00eancia aos hist\u00e9ricos gritos de alegria das crian\u00e7as, que ao verem a estranha e ex\u00f3tica m\u00e1quina se aproximando, com crepitar, seus sons e apito estridente aumentando gradativamente, chamavam umas \u00e0s outras para acenar, pular e gritar.<\/p>\n
Ao fundo, vemos o ponto de partida da m\u00e1quina revolucionaria, o pequeno centro de Porto Velho, onde jaz o sofrido\/castigado\/explorado\/abandonado\/menosprezado complexo da Madeira Mamor\u00e9, maior tesouro hist\u00f3rico e tur\u00edstico da cidade, do estado e do norte do Brasil.<\/p>\n
A pintura foi primeiramente adquirida pelo ent\u00e3o diretor do IPHAN, Beto Bertagna, em 2007,

The Tri\u00e2ngulo, located in this work, is one of the first districts of the city and is located on the Madeira River, in Porto Velho-Rond\u00f4nia. With the construction of the Madeira Mamor\u00e9 Railway, the train entered a triangle to turn the locomotive and get back the route, the action gave rise to the name of the neighborhood that is considered by the population of the city as a periphery although it is in a place that by nature, should be a neighborhood of class A. Here in Brazil the outskirts is a poor neighborhood, the houses are of wooden boards, with tiles of brasilit, without basic sanitation and without any urban beauty, to promote the mental well-being of citizens. Fortunately, they have the river at their side, which is silent and welcoming, holding their food, water, means of locomotion and generous nature. Few are aware of how much wealth we are treading.<\/p>\n
This is one of the first paintings painted here in Porto Velho, I produced it when I arrived from Boa Vista-RR in February 2007. I came by boat on this beautiful trip from Manaus-AM …<\/p>\n
At that time the locomotive was taking its last turns to the church of Santo Ant\u00f4nio, near community. I watched the scene while painting the place, the title of the screen is a reference to the hysterical cries of joy of the children, who saw the strange and exotic machine approaching, with crackling, their sounds and shrill whistle increasing gradually, called each other to wave, jump and scream.<\/p>\n
In the background, we see the starting point of the revolutionary machine, the small center of Porto Velho, where lies the suffered \/ chastised \/ abandoned \/ neglected complex of Madeira Mamore, the largest historical and tourist treasure of the city, state and northern Brazil.<\/p>\n
The painting was first acquired by the then director of IPHAN, Beto Bertagna, in 2007,
